Long queue on weekends. Traditional Hainanese curry rice. The braised pork belly is very nicely cooked, soft and savoury on the skin and thick cut. Squid is very fresh and soft. The best is the curry chicken gravy which is different from the main curry gravy they pour on the rice. Suggest to order a separate portion of chicken curry in a bowl to appreciate it more can be addictive.

Cafe itself has some nice tarts, hit or miss depending on your flavour preferences! Being someone with a low tolerance for sour food, the Lemon Meringue tart is one of if not the best I’ve had. Coffee was good too, pulled from the staff there.
Other tarts are pretty ok, a good treat once in awhile as they’re not cheap. Will I be back? Yes, when I’ve a craving for the tart again! 🙂
